Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons at Horseheads High School are for students in grades K-6. We do not test swimming skills, but we will move swimmers to more appropriate levels if the level signed up for is not meeting their needs.
Program Structure
- Two sessions will be offered, each consisting of 10 instructional days.
- Due to staffing limitations, we are only able to offer three time slots per session, with a strict cap on the number of participants per slot.
- Registration will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a time slot reaches capacity, it will automatically close and no further registrations will be accepted.
Lessons are designed for all skill levels, and instructors will ensure swimmers are placed in the most appropriate level if adjustments are needed. . The registration fee is $40 for each session. We can accept cash or check. Checks can be made out to “Horseheads Central School District”.
In the event we have to cancel lessons due to weather or other reason, cancellations will be posted on the main page of our district website and on the following social media sites:
